Upside Down Text Generator

A free tool that flips your text upside down. Every letter is swapped for a Unicode character that looks like its rotated twin, and the whole string is reversed, so it reads correctly when the text itself is turned around.

How to Use the Flipper

Type or paste into the first box. The flipped version appears below, ready to copy.

Why the Text Is Reversed Too

Rotating a line of text 180 degrees moves the last character to the front. The tool reverses the order as well as substituting each character, so Hello World becomes plɹoM ollǝH and reads properly once flipped.

What It Is Really Doing

This is not a font. Each character is swapped for a different Unicode character that looks similar, which is why the result survives being pasted into a bio, a username field, or a chat message where normal formatting would be stripped. Rendering depends on the device, so a few characters can show as boxes on older phones.

Characters Without a Twin

Not every character has a convincing upside down counterpart. Letters like H, I, N, O, S, X and Z look the same either way, so they are left alone. Anything with no match, including most accented letters, passes through unchanged.
