Italic Text Generator

Convert any text into italic-style Unicode characters that you can copy and paste into places that do not support rich formatting. Useful for adding subtle emphasis on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Discord. Example: For Example becomes πΉπ‘œπ‘Ÿ 𝐸π‘₯π‘Žπ‘šπ‘π‘™π‘’.

How to Use the Italic Text Generator

Type or paste your text into the box above. The italic output appears instantly in the second field. Click the copy button to send it to your clipboard, then paste it into any app or social platform.

The output is plain Unicode text, so it works everywhere a normal post or message works. No special font installation is required, and the style stays intact when someone else reads it on their phone or laptop.

What Is Italic Text?

Italic text in this generator uses Unicode mathematical alphabet characters (U+1D434 to U+1D467) that render as italicized versions of regular letters. It survives copy-paste because it is real Unicode, not formatting.

Where Italic Text Works

Twitter, Instagram captions and bios, LinkedIn posts, Facebook, Discord, Slack, Reddit comments, and most messaging apps that support standard Unicode. It does not work in some older email clients, plain-text fields, or anywhere strict ASCII is required.

A Note on Accessibility

Unicode-styled text looks fun, but screen readers often skip or mispronounce the special characters. Use it sparingly in places where accessibility matters (long posts, public-facing copy, alt text), and stick to plain text for anything critical.
