What Is an Invisible Character?
An invisible character is a Unicode codepoint that takes up text space but renders nothing visible on screen. It is not the same as the regular space bar character. Common invisible characters include U+200B (zero-width space), U+200C (zero-width non-joiner), U+200D (zero-width joiner), U+FEFF (zero-width no-break space), and U+3164 (Hangul filler).
Many platforms strip or reject regular space characters in usernames, display names, and certain input fields, but they accept invisible Unicode characters. Where a platform accepts them, an invisible character in a username or display name makes it look blank.
Common Uses
Blank-looking usernames or display names in games and apps that allow them. Spacer lines in social media captions and bios. Messages that look empty in chat apps. Invisible separators in code or text formatting where you need spacing without a literal space character.
How to Use the Tool

Platform Compatibility
Most modern apps and games accept invisible Unicode characters. A few exceptions: some platforms normalize input and strip non-printable characters, in which case the field stays empty after submission.
